Hillary Carrigan (she/her) is a Regional-Emmy award winning Director/Editor based in New York City and known for her contributions to post-production as a 1st Assistant Editor of feature-length films (Babygirl, You Hurt My Feelings). Narrative stories including, or told through, the perspectives of women and girls are her focus. The arts, education, identity/autonomy, equality and unity are themes she strives to validate and uplift through her work.

Carrigan is set to direct Deepest Corners in 2025. She was a recipient of the 2022-2023 Inwood Art Works Filmmaker Fund and grantee of The Creative Heights Society for a short film she wrote and directed titled, “Nana”. She logs what she’s been watching on Letterboxd, edits and contributes to indies as an editor, additional or contributing editor, or post-production consultant.

Hillary Carrigan is a member of The Motion Picture Editors Guild, I.A.T.S.E. Local 700 (New York) and SAG-AFTRA.
